Video by: Roee Shalti i perform through the media i am live while i'm alive distancing myself from the audience they can choose to stay they can choose to leave i observe myself infinitely in a self created space awakening i see the light changing i see my body changing i feel restricted i feel free i stop myself when i can no longer i dissapear In SELF REFLECTION, I built a set made out of boxes and placed mirrors on all walls to reflect myself infinitely. Infinity has recently been a constant within my work - the horizon, the never ending, the never arriving. I am really interested in durational work and how we can go further than what we can imagine as performers and as human beings. I want to challenge my mind and body to stay awake and conscious at a time where I'm normally dreaming. The aim of the performance is to go for 7 hours or until the performer can no longer keep going (12-7am)(TLV). Jordan Chiolis will be performing live music from New York City simultaneously, making this a duet in which we challenge our endurance and push each other’s limits *Set build in collaboration with: Sean Howe, Brenda Perez, Beatrice Larrivee Special Thanks to: Ascaf, Roee Shalti, Sebastian Abarbanell, Luis Brodermann, Silvia Sanchez
