That moment when i couldn’t touch you anymore
That moment when our lips almost touched
Longing
Long Waiting
Maintaining the Climax
Maintaining the Tension

PREMIERE: NEW BLUE DANCE FESTIVAL/ CANADA // JUNE 2018 LENGHT: 30 minutes PERFORMERS: 2 Dancers: Sebastian Abarbanell & César Brodermann COSTUME DESIGN: Noah Pica ORIGINAL COMPOSITION: Drew Lewis

ABOUT THE WORK—

'EXIT' deals with the fortune of opportunity that allows one to find acceptance in this world full of separation and inequality. These factors can lead people to existential frustrations, where suicide may seem to be the only way out. 'EXIT' is meant to encourage those to find alternative outlets.

The piece draws from the experience of two individuals from different cultural backgrounds where they have fought to be accepted for their identity and independence as members of the LGBTQ community.

The unlimited waves of ideas that pass through or human minds every day. How well do we know ourselves, how do we define ourselves, is it the same perspective that we have from ourselves the perspective that the society has? The decision taking throughout our entire life is always affected by the environment we encounter ourselves in and by the society
